Our Story
Rover Specialist was founded by Vinnie Torrone in Clifton, New Jersey, and has been serving Land Rover owners across the Tri-State area since 1999. What started as a passion for these uniquely capable British vehicles has grown into one of the most trusted independent Land Rover repair shops in the region.
For over 30 years, Vinnie and his team have developed a reputation built on three things: technical expertise, honest communication, and fair pricing. In a market where Land Rover ownership can feel expensive and mysterious, Rover Specialist has made it their mission to change that — one customer at a time.

Our technicians are factory-trained and ASE certified by Land Rover. We invest in the proper tools — including the Autologic® factory diagnostic system — so we can diagnose and repair your vehicle to dealer standards without the dealer price tag.
Being independently owned means we answer to our customers, not a corporate service quota. We tell you what your vehicle actually needs, explain your options clearly, and never recommend work that isn't necessary.

We're located in Clifton, New Jersey and serve customers throughout Passaic County, Bergen County, Essex County, and the greater Tri-State area. We also offer vehicle pickup and delivery for customers who can't make it to the shop.
